WATCH: "SCARRED," THE 2x EMMY-WINNING PRODUCTION
In June of 2021 Dillon Thomas had a question. Colorado's largest wildfire ever had just been extinguished. What lasting impacts would the 208,000+ acre burn scar have on the region in the years to come? The question became a vision, and the vision became a 2x Emmy-winning documentary. Dillon near-entirely MSJ'd the project from start to finish. In 2022 Dillon's documentary won best "News Special" at the Heartland Emmy's, beating several productions with large crews. The stories within the production also won Dillon the Emmy for best Video Journalist.
